This adorable boy is Jenson, he’s a very nervous young boy that arrived in our care with his brother Jasper. Sadly, found himself needing a home due to owner having too many dogs and couldn’t cope. He appears to have very little contact with humans as he will run away when approached and he flinches when stroked, he’s frightened of any sharp movements and noises. Jenson is curious of other dogs, as with people, he will require slow and steady introductions to build trust. This poor boy will need a patient owner who is at home most of the day to help build a bond and to help him settle into his new home.
Type of Home Needed:
Jenson is looking for a quiet but active home preferably with someone who is experienced with Collie breed and where he’ll have plenty of exercise and if any children, are teenagers who will respect his timid nature and will give him the time and patience he needs. He will need house training and lead work especially with passing traffic. He could possibly live with a calm nature neutered dog with plenty of meetings to ensure they get on. He will need testing with cats if any. A full secure garden of at least 5ft is required.
