Dogs

Mac

Mac

Mac came to Barnsley Animal Rescue as a stray. He has a very sad story to tell. When he arrived at the rehoming centre, he had hardly any hair and was very under weight and covered in sores. With time, his hair has grown back and his personality is starting to show.

Woody

Woody

Woody came to Barnsley Animal Rescue as a stray from Sheffield pound.  He had been over looked due to his size, but is a gentle giant.  He is great on the lead and enjoys going out for daily walks with our volunteer dog walkers.

Tia

Tia

Tia has been at the rehoming centre since 2010, and is being overlooked.  She just needs to be given a chance to show her new owners the good in her personality, which we see on a daily basis.

Chunk

Chunk

Chunk is a two year old Male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s a big lad, but enjoys having cuddles by anyone who is willing to give him a fuss.

Chance

Chance

He has come back to BARC as he was being left for long periods which he could not cope with. His owners said that they did not have the time to walk him as often as he needed, which left Chance frustrated and he started chewing when left.
