You can’t say fundraising without saying FUN? In fact, there’s no limit to the imaginative ways in which you can help us raise money and have a great time doing it. Here’s a few examples:

• Enter the Sheffield half-marathon and run for BARC
• Organise a cake sale
• Hula-hoop for one hour, non-stop
• Run a quiz
• Hold a car boot sale
• Put some collection boxes in bars or shops

Making fundraising easier
You can now set up an online fundraising page to raise sponsorship. Making it easier for you to manage your fundraising activities. It saves you having to ask people in person, and you have the assurance that the funds are automatically and regularly transferred to us, which we will then add to your overall fundraising total.

All you have to do is sign-up to our fundraising site Charity Giving and choose BARC as your fundraising charity. It’s that simple.

Once you’ve set up your page you can link it to your social networking site such as Facebook or on Twitter. This is a great way to help spread the word.
