Great North Run 8th September 2024 Fundraising for BARC
Hi I’m Liam, I’m keen on my fitness and fancied a new challenge…
So I’ve decided to take part in the Great North Run this year and thought while I’m doing it I might as well be doing it for a good cause.
I’ve chosen Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity (BARC) as I’m passionate about the welfare of animals and love the work that they do in the community, plus 100% of money raised goes straight to caring for and feeding the animals. I find it particularly impressive that they work with the mental and physical rehabilitation as well as rehoming. In order to keep up their amazing work they rely solely on charitable donations from people like us.
So if you can afford to give anything at all, no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated and hugely helpful to what I believe is a worthy cause.
